Our Young Adult Outreach opportunities have been limited this past year, but an energetic group from Youngstown State Univeristy's Honors College has brought us back .
Through the leadership of Beatitude House Immigrant Outreach volunteer Jason, the group including Jonathan, Anthony, Britney and Tafadzw prepared us for Spring at the Ursuline Motherhouse in Canfield.
The students worked outdoors for three hours clearing all signs of winter -- broken and fallen branches, litter that blew in from the street and the like.
Linda, an Ursuline Associate and director of Motherhouse Operations, worked along with them and said, "I found it very refreshing and enjoyed my time with the young adults. They have a very strong work ethic. They didn't want to take a break."
There are a variety of ways you can partner with the Ursuline Sisters and our Associates.
Please contact Michele Gatts, director of Mission Advancement, if you're interested in volunteering with us this spring or summer.
